Business Development Director


  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional experience in related field
  • 10+ years of indirect sales required and direct sales prefered in the Mobile Technology industry
  • Previous work in a high-tech environment is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills including experience building, evaluating and clearly presenting complex business models are critical
  • Solid understanding of P&L’s and key account margins and profitability
  • Partnership development capabilities, transaction experience, and familiarity with complex contracts negotiation
  • Proven ability to build and develop a sales team utilizing proven sales process
  • Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills with a strength in time and project management. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel and PPT
  • Experience in highly demanding, deadline driven environments
  • Exceptional business acumen with a high degree of integrity and ethics
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills


Job Responsibilities

  • Drive growth, lead direct sales, negotiate partnerships, establish distribution and reseller network
  • Perform all tasks necessary to generate revenues for the company
  • Research, develop, formulate, document and communicate business strategy development including research, industry, market and competitive analysis
  • Maintain high level of awareness of market, competitor activity and customer trends, communicating these internally
  • Initiate and complete proposals, presentations, negotiations, establishment of terms and conditions for a variety of transaction / arrangement types including distribution, sales, project production, traffic acquisition, data acquisition, technology and intellectual property licensing etc.
  • Own the recruitment, management, monitoring and strategic long-term goals for Galileo Technology Distribution Partners and ensure that they are executing against the plans accordingly
  • Create strategic roadmap for Galileo Direct Sales and Distribution Partners to develop the relationships and increase revenues
  • Identify, source, open, develop, negotiate and manage relationships with strategic partners in industries targeted to be relevant to Galileo strategic goals, negotiate contract agreement with all relevant parties
  • Ensure all distribution partners are fully educated on selling Galileo product portfolio by coordinating and delivering ongoing training, skills transfer and driving demand generation and business development
  • Ensures a strategic commitment from every distributor to successfully implement and execute all elements of the Distribution Managed Partner plan, from the provision of accurate monthly data and tactical monthly reviews to drive the plan forward as well as supporting specific reseller enablement activity and providing feedback on plan execution
  • Forecast Direct Sales and assigned Distribution business and opportunity to insure predictable revenue management and target achievement
